The Scottdale Concert Band, under the direction of Dr. Roderick Booker with assistant directors Frederick Collins and Lee Matchett, will begin rehearsals for the summer concert season March 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Southmoreland Elementary School band room. New members are welcome and require no auditions. Those interested should be at least 18 years of age to participate unless a parent or guardian attends rehearsal and performances as well.
