Who We Are
The Scottdale Concert Band was formed in the spring of 1981 to provide the community with musical services at all levels and as an outlet for citizens who wish to participate in band music. There are currently no fees or auditions required to join the band…
Rehearsals are every Tuesday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at the Southmoreland Elementary School in Scottdale. We have two musical seasons each year; a summer concert season and a Christmas/Holiday season. The band is inactive in January & February each year
Band members include a wide variety of people – high school students, music teachers, accountants, ministers, computer professionals, you name it! Every level of musician is welcome to come and join us. Why not dust off that old instrument case and come out some Tuesday night?
